So, today I was trying to get M$7 and it didn’t want to work because of some silly fricken thing on the school computers shuts you down after no activity. So I came home and started to download off of one them sites where you need to wait 15 min after you download one file unless you become a premium member….Well, I don’t want to pay so I looked up some stuff on the site and it said it takes your IP?! well know its possible to change my IP so I went about it and I finally got it!
First off, To see your Ip you can go to http://whatismyip.com/ then you can do this and open another tab go back to that site and see if they changed… worked for me.. its November 17 2009 =]
2WIRE with telus:
Broadband Link > Summary
Then copy your hardware address for example: 00:6c:9f:76:v4:35
Broadband Link > Advanced Settingss
You want to click in “Override the built-in hardware address:” then add your Address and change 1 number/letter and save.
Once you do that it should take you back to your summary and you can see the change letter, once you have this go to
System > Details > Restart the system
once you restart the system you need to wait for it to be done then you can go about your downloading with a new IP!

Well, I cant say that Gimp is better then Photo Shop but I can say that I think the picture that I did in Gimp is better…. Check it out.
